Color Consultation
When thinking about color it is important to understand how color psychologically affects the viewer. I have spent a great deal of time working with color in graphic design. My former design firm employed 20 and focused on communications graphics for Fortune 100 companies in the Bay Area. My personal specialty was packaging and point of sale display. At the point of sale color is a key element. Pick the right color for the packaging and the product sells, pick the wrong color and the results are less than satisfactory. My years of experience have provided me with the ability to know what colors are current, and what colors will work for each situation. Real experience working on interior design and architectural projects has given me a great deal of insight when working with color for residences. In addition to picking a paint swatch, a colorist must understand the application method, lighting, and the environment. While being a colorist may seem simple, the evidence of poor color selection is all around us. How many houses do you drive by on a daily basis that are just plain ugly? So, before a color mistake can be made, contact a colorist.
