This amazing deck was a replacement for a previous deck that was totally rotten. The installation included engineering and large concrete footings for the support posts. We also replaced the stairs and hand rails. The project also had custom stainless steel fencing. In total the deck was nearly 1,400 sq feet. The deck surface is IPÉ, a tropical hardwood that was very popular at the time. We assembled the deck with hidden fasteners and any location where we needed to place a screw through the surface we predrilled  the surface and completed the process with a matching wooden plug. As you can see, this kind of construction makes for a very fine high end result.
